Job summary

The Bolt Supply House Ltd is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to back the Account Managers across Western Canada, including Calgary/Balzac. You will coordinate quotations, manage inquiries, and guide opportunities from inquiry to order, ensuring timely communication with suppliers and customers.

You will maintain CRM/ERP records, support account planning, and identify cross-sell opportunities while contributing to revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in inside sales, sales support, account coordination, customer service, or a related sales role.
• Experience supporting outside sales teams, account managers, or strategic customer accounts is preferred.
• Industrial distribution, fasteners, MRO, industrial components, fluid power, automation, or related industry experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated support to assigned Account Managers in managing customer accounts and sales opportunities.
• Prepare and manage quotations, proposals, bids, and related sales documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate solutions with Account Managers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Follow up on quotations, opportunities, and customer requests to support conversion, customer retention, and revenue growth.
• Coordinate with suppliers, purchasing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure product availability and on-time delivery.
• Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers and Account Managers.
• Maintain accurate customer, pricing, opportunity, and activity records within CRM and ERP systems.
• Assist with account planning, customer reviews, reporting, and opportunity tracking.
• Identify and communicate cross-sell, upsell, and growth opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support long-term account growth and customer satisfaction.
• Stay current on company products, supplier offerings, and industry trends.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Home location is flexible for any major Western Canada metropolitan area in which Bolt Supply operates, however, preference will be provided to those based out of Calgary/ Balzac, AB.

SUMMARY
The Sales Support Specialist is a dedicated resource responsible for supporting assigned Account Managers in the execution of sales strategies, customer relationship management, opportunity development, and day-to-day account support. Acting as an extension of the outside sales team, this role is responsible for coordinating quotations, managing customer inquiries, facilitating order execution, and proactively identifying opportunities to support revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
