Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating a grain elevator.
• Thorough knowledge of the grain industry including grading factors, elevator equipment and processes.
• Practical knowledge in mechanical repair.
• Experience in team management or supervision, demonstrating effective leadership abilities.
• Proficient computer skills with aptitude for learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Supervising Facility Assistants to ensure business needs are executed safely, efficiently and profitably.
• Managing the facility safety program and actively working to create a strong safety culture.

Your Role As Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in managing the overall performance, maintenance, and repair of the elevator.

The Operations Manager will oversee quality control measures on incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring the maintenance and compliance of a safe working environment, and supervising Facility Assistants at the location.

Day to Day
