Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative role located in Ottawa, ON. The Sales Representative will engage with prospective and existing customers, provide product information, prepare quotes, and follow up to close sales. Daily responsibilities include managing leads, conducting site or showroom visits, maintaining accurate records in CRM or sales systems, and coordinating with operations and project teams to ensure timely delivery and installation. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building long-term relationships with contractors, designers, and homeowners, and representing the company at industry events or client meetings. The Sales Representative is expected to meet sales targets, provide excellent customer service, and support continuous improvement in sales processes.

Qualifications

• Strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Experience in construction, building materials, or related industries, with an understanding of stone products and installation processes considered an asset.
• Solid communication and presentation abilities, including clear verbal and written communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Competence in basic computer applications and CRM or sales management tools to track leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
• Proven ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for client visits and project meetings, as required.
• High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset.
• Previous experience in a sales or account management role is preferred.
