Your Mission

The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating revenue and meeting business objectives as directed by the Senior Manager of Corporate & Group Sales. As part of your role, you will be looking to identify the best opportunities to improve sales, ensure efficiency and increase the reach of Cirque du Soleil’s Group Sales business!

The Sales Manager Will Be Responsible For
  • Identifying and successfully closing a pipeline of Group leads and opportunities for multiple markets in North America
  • Identifying, qualifying, and contracting new and existing clients for Groups & Hospitality events for Cirque du Soleil shows
  • Proactively calling prospects and tracking sales activities in CRM
  • Meeting and/or exceeding ticket sales and revenue goals by market
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service to new and existing clients
  • Following up on reservations and payments for packages sold while ensuring the signing of sales contracts
  • Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with high level contacts in Meetings, Conventions and Hospitality industry
  • Working closely with on-site tour staff to ensure proper delivery of events and complete customer satisfaction
The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Qualifications
  • University degree in Marketing, Business, or related field or any relevant combination of work experience
  • At least 3-5 years of entertainment sales background (ideally in corporate and group sales)
  • A well-established network of corporate and group contacts in Montréal is considered a valuable asset
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce (or similar CRM), familiarity with ticketing system(s) is preferred.
  • Results-focused, strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
