Intro and Job Overview

You are a subject matter expert in your domain, whether technical or industry-specific. You stay current on emerging trends and leverage this knowledge to support complex sales opportunities. You have built a broad network across clients, partners, and internal stakeholders, actively engaging and developing opportunities.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Architect technology solutions and present Precisely offerings demonstrating value in sales meetings, workshops, and events.
  • Support enterprise solution sales across regions.
  • Provide technical leadership for implementing Precisely solutions in customer environments (On-Premise, Cloud, Hybrid).
  • Offer consultative solutions across multiple business units (e.g., Financial Services, Telecom, Retail).
  • Guide customers through transformational journeys, understanding their goals and integrating Precisely solutions into their strategies.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to identify new engagement opportunities and evaluate technical risks with mitigation strategies.
  • Create collateral, contribute to programs, and collaborate to meet client needs (e.g., reference architectures, deployment and implementation roadmaps).
  • Stay informed on industry trends and implement new technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 7+ years in relevant technology domains (e.g., sales engineering, software architecture, cloud computing, data & analytics).
  • Experience in application architecture design, implementation, or consulting.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and analytics.
  • Experience with data management domains (e.g., data integration, quality, governance, MDM).
  • Experience in location intelligence and data enrichment is a plus.
  • AI/ML expertise is a plus.
  • Strong solution storytelling, client value proposition development, product/concept selling, pre-sales, and executive presence skills.
  • Excellent technical communication skills to bridge business outcomes and technical requirements.
  • Experience in two or three major industries, including Public Sector (e.g., Financial Services, Telecom, Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, Utilities, Prop Tech).
