Job summary

The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company in Mississauga is seeking a Sales Administrator to provide flexible support to the Sales team, maintain data integrity, support sales reporting, and handle administrative documentation for retailer accounts.

Key duties include completing retailer item change forms, data entry, supporting VMI with the Sales Operations team, verifying data integrity, tracking KPIs, contributing to process improvements, and formatting raw sales data into spreadsheets.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, internet and social media.
• Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to multitask.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, particularly in data validation.
• Proven ability to follow both oral and written instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work autonomously.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate professionally and accurately with both internal and external teams. Bilingual is a nice to have, not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Complete Retailer item change forms and new product listing documentation accurately and within deadlines. (30%)
• Execute accurate data entry and gather publicly available competitive information. (20%)
• Collaborate with the Sales Operations team to support the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) process. (10%)
• Assist in verifying the integrity of data, ensuring accurate stages, values, and dates. (10%)
• Track key performance indicators and departmental metrics, promptly flagging any inconsistencies or anomalies. (10%)
• Support process improvement initiatives through various tools and technologies. (10%)
• Compile and format raw sales data into organized, digestible spreadsheets. (10%)
