Job summary

Staples Canada in Kelowna is hiring to deliver outstanding customer service while driving sales in furniture, technology and supplies. You will work with store leaders to set and hit sales and margin goals, and ensure operations meet brand standards.

A collaborative team environment and commitment to safety are expected. Responsibilities include using POS for transactions, assisting customers with tailored product solutions, and maintaining a clean, safe store.

Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of prior retail experience (preferred).

Specifically, you will

• Engage with and sell to all our customers by offering tailored products and services using all tools and techniques available in our selling model to anticipate and meet future customer needs.
• Handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
• Calmly de-escalate and assist in complex customer situations to ensure their concerns are addressed effectively or refer to a manager/supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks like dusting, front-facing products, and ensuring demo units are clean and functional.
