Job summary

Staples Canada in Richmond is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver outstanding customer service, drive sales across furniture, technology and supplies, and uphold store standards. You will engage shoppers, process transactions, and support merchandising and signage to create an inviting shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of prior retail experience (preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and sell to customers by offering tailored products and services using all tools and techniques to anticipate and meet future customer needs.
• Handle transactions using the POS system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
• Calmly de-escalate and assist in complex customer situations or refer to a manager/supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks like dusting, front-facing products, and ensuring demo units are clean and functional.
