Job summary

Long & McQuade Limited is seeking a customer-focused sales associate in Winnipeg to help customers buy or rent musical instruments and gear. You will assess individual needs, demonstrate products, and explain features and benefits while answering calls and following up on orders.

You will maintain product knowledge, participate in trainings, and contribute to an inviting store atmosphere. Prior retail experience is helpful; musicians are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be a musician who plays at least one instrument.
• Able to work weekdays, weeknights and weekends.
• Positive attitude and steady composure.
• Proven strong work ethic and commitment.
• High levels of energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to lift and carry large boxes.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to recommend solutions in a confident and assertive manner.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in retail or sales is an asset.
