Job summary

Long & McQuade Limited is seeking a dedicated in-store associate to assist customers with selling and renting musical instruments and gear. You will assess individual needs and pair customers with the right products and services, demonstrating features, and handling calls professionally.

As a musician with retail or sales inclination, you will contribute to a fast-paced environment, maintain product knowledge, and support store maintenance and stock duties.

Qualifications

• Must be a musician who plays at least one instrument.
• Must be able to work weekdays, weeknights and weekends.
• Positive attitude and steady composure.
• Proven strong work ethic and commitment.
• High levels of energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to lift and carry large boxes.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to recommend solutions in a confident and assertive manner.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in retail or sales is an asset.
