Job summary

Long & McQuade Limited in Laval, Quebec, is seeking a sales associate to help customers through selling and renting musical instruments and gear. You will assess customer needs and match them with the right products and services, while demonstrating features and benefits to enhance purchases.

You will answer phone inquiries, follow up on orders with customers and suppliers, and maintain up-to-date product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be a musician who plays at least one instrument.
• Must be able to work weekdays, weeknights and weekends.
• Positive attitude and steady composure.
• Proven strong work ethic and commitment.
• High levels of energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to lift and carry large boxes.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to recommend solutions in a confident and assertive manner.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in retail or sales is an asset.
