Job summary

Long & McQuade Limited is hiring at our Stratford location for a role in customer-focused music retail. You will help customers buy or rent musical instruments and gear, determine individual needs, and suggest suitable products and services.

You will also demonstrate products, answer calls, and follow up orders with customers and suppliers. The position requires energy, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a musician who plays at least one instrument.
• Must be able to work weekdays, weeknights and weekends.
• Positive attitude and steady composure.
• Proven strong work ethic and commitment.
• High levels of energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to lift and carry large boxes.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to recommend solutions in a confident and assertive manner.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in retail or sales is an asset.
