Job summary

Long & McQuade Limited in Toronto is seeking an energetic Retail Associate to help customers buy or rent musical instruments and gear. You will assess individual needs and pair them with the right products and services.

You will demonstrate products, answer calls, and follow up on orders, while maintaining product knowledge and store standards. Weekend and evening shifts are required in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a musician who plays at least one instrument.
• Must be able to work weekdays, weeknights and weekends.
• Positive attitude and steady composure.
• Proven strong work ethic and commitment.
• High levels of energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to lift and carry large boxes.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to recommend solutions in a confident and assertive manner.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in retail or sales is an asset.
