Job summary

Long & McQuade Limited in Cornwall, ON is seeking a motivated Retail Sales Associate to help customers with selling and renting musical instruments and gear. You will identify customer needs and match them with our products and services, and demonstrate features to aid decisions.

You will be expected to answer calls professionally, follow up on orders, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products and policies. Regular training and staff meetings are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be a musician who plays at least one instrument.
• Available to work weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.
• Positive attitude and steady composure.
• Proven strong work ethic and commitment.
• High levels of energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to lift and carry large boxes.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to recommend solutions in a confident and assertive manner.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in retail or sales is an asset.
