Job summary

Long & McQuade Limited in Courtenay is seeking a friendly music retailer to assist customers with buying and renting instruments and gear. You will assess individual needs and match them with the right products and services.

You will demonstrate products, answer calls, follow up on orders, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and policies. The role includes store merchandising, maintenance, and periodic training sessions.

Qualifications

• Must be a musician who plays at least one instrument.
• Must be able to work weekdays, weeknights and weekends.
• Positive attitude and steady composure.
• Proven strong work ethic and commitment.
• High levels of energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to lift and carry large boxes.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to recommend solutions in a confident and assertive manner.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in retail or sales is an asset.
