Job summary

Long & McQuade Limited in White Rock, BC, seeks a motivated team member to assist customers with selling and renting musical instruments and gear. You will identify individual needs and match them with the right products and services, and demonstrate features to customers.

Applicants must be a musician, able to work weekdays, weeknights and weekends, and bring energy, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail to a fast-paced retail environment. Training and weekly staff meetings are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a musician who plays at least one instrument.
• Must be able to work weekdays, weeknights and weekends.
• Positive attitude and steady composure.
• Proven strong work ethic and commitment.
• High levels of energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to lift and carry large boxes.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to recommend solutions in a confident and assertive manner.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in retail or sales is an asset.
