Job summary

Qualicare Homecare is seeking Licensed Practical/Registered Practical Nurses (LPNs/RPNs) to provide direct skilled client care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will follow the plan of care, administer treatments, and collaborate with the team to help meet positive client outcomes.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, accurate documentation, ongoing assessments, medication documentation, and adherence to infection control principles and provincial scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Current certificate of competence and good standing.
• Certified in CPR.
• Strong clinical skills.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray.
• Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, administers and appropriately documents actions taken specific to medications
