The Licensed Practical/Registered Practical Nurse at Qualicare Homecare provides direct skilled client care under supervision, following the plan of care and collaborating with the team to achieve positive client outcomes.

Responsibilities include delivering treatments, documenting actions, and conducting ongoing assessments while adhering to infection control principles and provincial scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Recent clinical nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, home care, or community settings is an asset
• Strong clinical skills
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray
• Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
• Excellent customer service skills
