Job summary

Qualicare Homecare in Mississauga is seeking a registered nurse to deliver high-quality home-based care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. You will supervise staff when required and ensure care plans are implemented and evaluated for each client.

You will work with PT/OT/SLP to coordinate services, assess client needs, and ensure plan-of-care is followed with ongoing re-evaluation and supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• Current certificate of competence and good standing.
• Certified in CPR.
• Strong clinical skills and patient-focused care.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Job Summary

The RN is responsible for the quality; adequacy of services provided and may, where required, supervise staff. The RN is responsible for ensuring that care is delivered appropriately and the standards of quality are adhered to.

The RN is responsible for working with other medical disciplines (i.e., PT, OT, SLP) to ensure coordinated services and that all of the client's needs are identified through the assessment process and addressed through the implementation of the Plan of Care and re-evaluation and supervisory process.
