Job summary

Qualicare Homecare is hiring compassionate LPNs/RPNs to join our home care team in Canada. You will provide direct, skilled client care under supervision, following the care plan and documenting actions taken, while collaborating with the care team to achieve positive client outcomes.

Shifts range from 4 to 12 hours with flexible scheduling, PPE provided, and ongoing education/programs to support your growth. Strong clinical skills and self-direction are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Recent clinical nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, home care, or community settings is an asset.
• Strong clinical skills.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray.
• Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.
• Provides accurate, detailed, and timely documentation.
• Conducts ongoing assessments.
• Prepares, administers and appropriately documents actions taken specific to medications.
• Performs all skills, treatments, and procedures competently in accordance with the provincial scope of practice.
• Follows principles of infection control and Universal Precautions.
