Qualicare Homecare in Canada is seeking compassionate LPNs/RPNs to join our family. The Licensed Practical/Registered Practical Nurse provides direct skilled client care under a registered nurse's supervision and helps implement the care plan.

You will perform treatments, document accurately, and collaborate with the care team to achieve positive client outcomes while adhering to infection control and provincial scope.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
• Recent clinical nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, home care, or community settings is an asset.
• Strong clinical skills.
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.
• Provides accurate, detailed, and timely documentation.
• Conducts ongoing assessments.
• Prepares, administers and appropriately documents actions taken specific to medications.
• Performs all skills, treatments, and procedures in accordance with provincial scope.
• Follows infection control and Universal Precautions.
