AgeCare is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide professional nursing care to residents in our long-term care communities. You will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and collaborate with physicians and the health care team to meet residents' care needs and safety.

The role includes directing Personal Support Workers, adhering to standards and policies, and participating in shift reports.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario is required.
• Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing.
• Knowledge of relevant Canadian health acts and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in collaboration with the RN.
• Direct Personal Support Workers on the unit.
• Communicate with physicians and health care team members.
• Participate in shift reports and ensure resident status is updated.
