Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide professional nursing care in our long-term care residence. You will assess, monitor, and respond to residents’ needs, and supervise Personal Support Workers as directed by Nursing standards.

You will work with physicians and the health-care team to implement individualized care plans, ensuring dignity, respect and compassionate service to our residents. This role emphasizes teamwork and commitment to quality elder care.

Qualifications

• Certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and current member in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to residents.
• Supervise activities and provide direction to Personal Support Workers as required.
• Collaborate with physicians and the health care team to implement individualized care plans.
