Job summary

Civeo Crown Services Employees LP in a lodge near Fort McMurray, AB, is hiring Kitchen Workers to assist with food preparation, cleaning, inventory and general kitchen duties.

Candidates must have kitchen experience, Alberta Food Safety certification, and strong English communication skills. First Aid is an asset. The role includes day/night shifts, weekends and holidays on a 21-on/7-off rotation. Reporting to a supervisor, you will follow SOPs and FIFO practices.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a kitchen is required.
• Food Safety certification valid in Alberta for duration of employment is required.
• Advance Food Safety is considered an asset.
• Current, valid First Aid certification is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Must lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with putting away groceries using FIFO.
• Sanitize, sweep, and mop the kitchen/dining room floor as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining area.
• Take out garbage and clean the garbage area.
• Replenish desserts, beverages and condiments as needed.
• Assist with inventory.
• Report any damage, theft and abandoned articles to the Supervisor.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures by following company safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
