Job summary

Civeo Crown Services Employees LP in Alberta near Fort McMurray is hiring Kitchen Workers to support our lodge operations. You will assist with food preparation, inventory, and maintaining cleanliness in front and back of house areas, reporting to a supervisor. The role involves 21 days on, 7 days off and may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Candidates must have kitchen experience, Alberta Food Safety certification, and strong English communication. First Aid is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a kitchen is required.
• Food Safety certification valid in Alberta required for duration of employment.
• Advance Food Safety is an asset.
• Current, valid First Aid certification is an asset.
• Excellent communication in English, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, pull, push, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with FIFO inventory and groceries handling.
• Sanitize, sweep, and mop the kitchen/dining area floor as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining area.
• Take out garbage and clean the garbage area.
• Replenish desserts, beverages and condiments as needed.
• Assist with inventory.
• Report any damage, theft and abandoned articles to the Supervisor.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures by following company safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
