Job summary

BA Blacktop Ltd. is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager in design and construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. The role focuses on QA/QC, site coordination, and documentation for a Fraser Valley project.

The successful candidate will bring broad road construction knowledge, strong organization, and effective communication, with a willingness to manage field operations and supplier coordination in a full-time, on-site capacity.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of road construction and related activities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• QA, QC training and quantity tracking experience.

Responsibilities

• Preplan and schedule project activities daily to weekly.
• Lead QA/QC procedures and update QMP.
• Promote safe working methods and maintain safety records.
• Record meeting minutes and assist project management.
• Coordinate with environmental and QA teams for compliance.
• Track quantities and materials using tracking sheets.
• Assist project manager with cost tracking and budgeting.
• Write NCRs/OFIs/RFIs as needed.
• Conduct monthly safety audits for the project.
• Represent the site as a project contact.
