Job summary

Donna Cona Inc. is seeking a Risk and Controls Consultant, Level 2, to join our client project in Ottawa. The consultant will identify risks and translate them into business requirements, processes and operational controls within the solution team.

The engagement is a sub-contract, not an employment position, and requires a valid Reliability security clearance with experience in citizen-facing public service or financial services environments.

Qualifications

• Must have valid security clearance at Reliability level.
• 3+ years experience implementing citizen-facing public service solutions or banking/financial services.
• Experience with business process design and requirement gathering.
• Experience preparing presentation materials and leading client discussions.

• Identify risks and translate them into business requirements, processes and operational controls.
• Collaborate with the solution team to define risk-based controls and mitigations.

Donna Cona Inc. is currently seeking a Risk and Controls Consultant, Level 2, for one of our key clients. Consultant will work with the solution team in identifying risks and translating them into business requirements, business processes and operational controls.

This posting is for an incorporated contract engagement and is not an employment position.

Candidate MUST Have The Following

• A valid security clearance at the level of Reliability;
• More than three (3) years of experience on implementation of citizen facing public service solutions (social security, social services, taxation, customs, grants or similar) or banking/financial services;
• Experience with business process design, requirement gathering; and
• Experience preparing presentation materials and leading client discussions.

Candidate Should Have The Following Demonstrated Experience

• Performing complex case management implementation (multi-year);
• Designing or implementing fraud, integrity or quality controls, compliance programs or similar;
• Performing business process transformation;
• Providing stakeholder facilitation and workshop leadership skills;
• Working on a matrix environment and negotiating complex solution; and
• Performing risk management on a public service or financial services environment (risk assessment and mitigation strategies).
