Job summary

Donna Cona Inc. is seeking an ERP System Analyst – SAP Finance – Level 3 for a key government client in Ottawa.

The role analyzes FI/CO reporting and data flows affected by migration, implements remediation and enhancements, and tests new reports in line with S4 data models. Required are a valid Reliability clearance, 10+ years as an SAP ERP Systems Analyst, 5+ years configuring at least three SAP modules (FI, CO, GL, etc.), and an SAP Financial Accounting certification.

Qualifications

• Valid Reliability security clearance.
• 10+ years as SAP ERP Systems Analyst within last 20 years.
• 5+ years configuring 3+ SAP modules from FI, SPL, AA, GL, TM, IM, RE-FX, CO, AR.
• SAP Financial Accounting certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review FI/CO business processes against SAP best practices.
• Define FI/CO data mappings and integration points in SAP.
• Document FI/CO events and posting flows for S4.
• Identify migration risks and mitigation strategies for data and processes.
• Collaborate with functional/UX teams to test FI/CO FIORI apps.
• Perform baseline FI/CO configuration in SAP S4 environment.
• Support FI/CO analytics and reporting with BI teams.

Donna Cona Inc. is currently seeking an ERP System Analyst – SAP Finance – Level 3, for one of our key government clients. The SAP FI/CO System Analyst will analyze FI/CO reporting and data flows impacted by migration, implement remediation and enhancements, and test new reports and dashboards that conform to S4 data models and business requirements.

Candidate MUST have the following:

• A valid security clearance at the level of Reliability;
• A minimum of ten (10) years of combined experience within the last twenty (20) years working as an SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP Systems Analyst;
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in configuring solutions in ANY three (3) of the following SAP modules: 1. Financial Accounting (FI); 2. Special Purpose Ledger (SPL); 3. Asset Accounting (AA); 4. General Ledger (GL); 5. Travel Management (TM); 6. Investment Management (IM); 7. Flexible Real Estate (RE-FX); 8. Controlling (CO); and 9. Accounts Receivable (AR); and
• Hold an SAP Financial Accounting certification.

Candidate should have the following demonstrated experience:

• Configuring and reporting on the various revenue complexities* within a Government of Canada (GoC) financial framework;
• Developing and implementing solutions which improve business processes for Government of Canada (GoC) Financial Statements and related reports within SAP;
• Providing Cost Recovery solutions within the Government of Canada (GoC);
• Designing Forecast models within the Government of Canada (GoC);
• Developing the “New General Ledger (GL)” module for a Canadian Federal, Provincial or Municipal Government department or agency; and
• Additional SAP certifications

Responsibilities include:

• Review and analyze business processes against best practices and recommend options for efficiencies as well as improved controls under the Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) modules in SAP;
• Define FI/CO data mappings and integration points, including SAP table relationships, master data consolidation, and transformation rules;
• Document FI/CO business events and posting flows required in S4 environment;
• Identify FI/CO-specific migration risks and recommend mitigation strategies for data, process, and integration impacts;
• Work with the functional and UX teams to evaluate and test new FI/CO standard FIORI applications;
• Perform baseline configuration of FI/CO within an SAP S4 environment; and
• Support FI/CO analytics and reporting, collaborating with BI teams on data extraction, transformation, and warehouse integration.
