Job summary

Donna Cona Inc. is seeking a Risk and Controls Consultant, Level 2, for a contracted engagement in Ottawa.

The consultant will collaborate with the solution team to identify risks and translate them into business requirements, processes and operational controls. Candidates must have a Reliability security clearance, more than three years of experience in citizen-facing public service solutions or banking/financial services, and proven skills in business process design, requirements gathering,

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Reliability level security clearance.
• More than three (3) years of experience implementing citizen-facing public service solutions or banking/financial services.
• Experience with business process design and requirements gathering.
• Experience preparing presentation materials and leading client discussions.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk and controls analysis within a matrix environment.
• Translate risks into business requirements, processes and operational controls.
• Lead stakeholder workshops and client discussions to drive consensus.
• Contribute to risk management and mitigation strategies for public service or financial services contexts.

Donna Cona Inc. is currently seeking a Risk and Controls Consultant, Level 2, for one of our key clients. Consultant will work with the solution team in identifying risks and translating them into business requirements, business processes and operational controls.

This posting is for an incorporated contract engagement and is not an employment position.

Candidate MUST have the following:

• A valid security clearance at the level of Reliability;
• More than three (3) years of experience on implementation of citizen facing public service solutions (social security, social services, taxation, customs, grants or similar) or banking/financial services;
• Experience with business process design, requirement gathering; and
• Experience preparing presentation materials and leading client discussions.

Candidate should have the following demonstrated experience:

• Performing complex case management implementation (multi-year);
• Designing or implementing fraud, integrity or quality controls, compliance programs or similar;
• Performing business process transformation;
• Providing stakeholder facilitation and workshop leadership skills;
• Working on a matrix environment and negotiating complex solution; and
• Performing risk management on a public service or financial services environment (risk assessment and mitigation strategies).
