Job summary

H&M is seeking a Workforce Management Specialist in Toronto to optimize store workforce planning and scheduling. You will support Area and Store management to drive strong sales performance through efficient scheduling and cost-conscious planning.

The role reports to the Controlling Manager and is based at the Toronto Support Office. A background in finance/retail analytics and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Business/Economics or equivalent experience
• 1–3 years in retail, preferably in management
• 1–3 years in a business analyst or finance role
• Ability to coach and counsel staff
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in sales and workforce planning tools

Responsibilities

• Set hourly function plan for every store in line with market goals and budget
• Oversee the hourly function plan with Store Management for strong operations and guest experience
• Regularly follow up sales and hours planning to align with market targets
• Collaborate with Controlling to align function plan and schedules
• Educate Stores to align sales planning with scheduling for efficiency
• Work with Area Managers to gather input on scheduling to drive improvements
