Job summary

Holt Renfrew is seeking a Planner to collaborate with the buying team and deliver multi-dimensional merchandise plans, forecasts, and analyses that guide assortment decisions and maximise profit. You will own plans across hierarchies, manage in-season performance, and work with Assistant Planners to optimise inventory.

The role requires 2+ years in merchandise planning, strong financial acumen, and proficient use of Microsoft Office and ERP/Merchandise Planning systems.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of successful experience in a merchandise planning business unit.
• Excellent financial acumen and strong analytical skills.
• Demonstrated influencing skills with the ability to get things done.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and own merchandise plans aligned with corporate strategy to maximize sales and profit.
• Collaborate with merchant/buying counterparts on planning decisions and opportunities.
• Provide end-of-season analysis to support optimising planning and buying decisions.
• Manage plan integrity across hierarchies including merchandise, stores and seasons.
• Maintain forecasts and metrics such as sales, markdown, margin and receipts.
