Dollarama L.P./S.E.C. in Wetaskiwin, AB is hiring for a Retail Store Supervisor. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills to lead and coordinate staff, set schedules, and ensure smooth store operations.

The role is permanent, full-time with day, evening, night, weekend, overtime and morning shifts. Compensation ranges CAD 24.07–28.07 per hour, plus health benefits, pension, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with good communication skills.

• 2–3 years of related experience preferred.
• Able to supervise 11–15 staff effectively.

Responsibilities

• The candidate must supervise staff (apprentices, stage hands, design team, etc.).
• The candidate must assign duties to sales workers.
• The candidate must hire and train or arrange for staff training.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.
• The candidate will be responsible for selling merchandise.
• The candidate must resolve issues that may arise, such as customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
• The candidate must organize and keep inventory.
• The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be able to supervise 11 to 15 people.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
