Job summary

Savers is seeking a ServiceNow Developer for a remote, 12-month contract in Canada. You will develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and more.

Collaboration with stakeholders to translate requirements into designs is essential, along with strong testing and documentation practices. The role requires five years of ServiceNow experience and three years in implementing listed ServiceNow product lines.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in computer science, information technology, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of recent demonstrated experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
• Minimum three years of recent demonstrated experience implementing ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SAM Pro, SecOps, HRSD, SPM/ITBM, BCM, Crisis Management, and custom enterprise applications.
• Demonstrated experience developing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow components.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, enhance, test, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations across various modules; ensure solutions meet business and security requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into epics, user stories, and technical designs.
• Design, configure, develop, test, and implement ServiceNow solutions using best practices and scalable designs.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow components including forms, tables, catalog items, record producers, workflows, Flow Designer solutions, business rules, client scripts, notifications, ACLs, portals, dashboards, and reports.
• Design, develop and support integrations between ServiceNow and internal or third‑party systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, defects, and enhancement requests; perform root cause analysis.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and traceability records; document requirements, development, testing, deployments, and support activities.
• Execute unit testing, support UAT, maintain test evidence, and remediate defects.
• Support releases, deployments, change records, implementation plans, validation activities, and rollback procedures.
• Support agile delivery activities and project governance with regular updates to project teams and stakeholders.

Our financial services client is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to develop, configure, enhance, test, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations!

Initial 12-month contract, strong chance of extension to a total term of 3 years. Remote. 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Selected candidate must be eligible to apply for, or currently hold, a valid Government of Canada Reliability Status Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, enhance, test, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations across the Bank\'s ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SAM Pro, SecOps, HRSD, SPM/ITBM, BCM, Crisis Management, AI Control Tower, Service Portal, and custom enterprise applications, ensuring solutions meet business, technical, security, and performance requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess solution options, and translate business needs into epics, user stories, technical designs, and development tasks
• Design, configure, develop, test, and implement ServiceNow solutions using platform best practices, scalable configurations, and maintainable design patterns

• Demonstrated experience developing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow components, including workflows, service catalogs, portals, scripting, reporting, integrations, and platform automation capabilities
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving ServiceNow platform issues, defects, and incidents, while collaborating effectively with technical and business stakeholders in an enterprise environment
• Demonstrated experience documenting requirements, technical designs, configuration changes, testing and deployment activities, and facilitating technical discussions to support solution design and implementation decisions

Technical Skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of ITIL practices, Agile delivery methodologies, and ServiceNow platform governance, including development standards, release management practices, and maintainability considerations

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Demonstrated experience implementing, configuring, or supporting AI and automation capabilities within ServiceNow, including Now Assist, Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent, AI Search, or similar technologies
