Job summary

The Michaels Companies Windsor, ON store is seeking a Store Associate to build customer relationships and assist with custom framing solutions. You will help customers shop, complete framing orders with care, and keep a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

You will operate the cash register, follow SOPs, support safety programs, and participate in truck unloading and stocking. Weekend and evening shifts may be required in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring abilities.
• Experience operating framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with a high level of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas such as SISO and replenishment.
• Provide friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they need.
• Follow SOPs and Company programs.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact professionally with customers and team members; uphold company values.
• Assist with truck unloading and stocking; ensure safety standards.
• Operate cash register and handle cash according to standards.
• Acknowledge customers, locate products, and offer solutions.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
