Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Saint John, NB is seeking a Store Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team and deliver strong sales while ensuring an engaging customer experience across front-end and service operations.

You will coach staff on selling behaviors, oversee SOPs, POS, and loyalty programs, and drive omni-channel execution including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery. Night/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Proven ability to coach selling behaviors and deliver strong customer experience.
• Experience enforcing SOPs and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and model customer-focused selling behaviors to drive conversion.
• Ensure SOPs, policies, store conditions, and operational standards are followed.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout for smooth transactions.
• Promote loyalty programs and protection plans to boost retention.
• Coach and develop team through onboarding and ongoing training.
