Job summary

Staples Canada is seeking a Print & Services Supervisor to lead a team focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences in print and services. You will drive sales, maintain store standards, and act as a leader on duty to support programs and training.

You will supervise production and customer interactions, coach staff, and ensure smooth operations while upholding the store's brand standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of prior customer service experience in retail required, with prior supervisory and coaching experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a print/graphic communications environment with working knowledge of graphic design principles.
• Technical acumen to operate computer and printing equipment.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Model and coach, our selling model within the store by engaging customers and motivating associates to do the same. Focus on high-performance, results, and a customer-first mindset. You supervise and perform all aspects of production and customer-faced interactions within the print and customer service areas of the store.
• Sales Execution: Execute, communicate, and ensure understanding of flyer and promotional items. Demonstrate a high degree of customer engagement and find ways to maximize sales while effectively assisting customers.
• Leadership: Lead areas in the store, including cash and print, to achieve goals and targets. Cultivate a selling culture with associates by learning, adopting, and teaching new trends, products, and services.
• Operational Excellence: Manage operational excellence and store brand standards in print.
• Training & Development: Dedicate time for self-development and enable others to do the same. Conduct training of associates within the store and inspire continuous learning and development.
