Purdys in Pickering City Centre is hiring a Chocolate Sales Connoisseur for a seasonal, part-time pop-up shop. You will contribute to sales and customer service, helping guests discover award-winning chocolates.

This role requires availability for days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Expect about three shifts per week and be prepared to lift up to 50 lbs while delivering a joyful chocolate experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible availability for all shifts (days, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Seasonal part-time commitment for roughly 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and drive sales at the pop-up shop.
• Provide exceptional service and chocolate education.
• Maintain visual standards and stock on the floor.

Job Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic Chocolate Sales Connoisseur to join our sales team at our new pop-up shop in Pickering City Centre. You will contribute to sales and profitability by achieving sales goals and providing exceptional customer service. This position is a great opportunity to expand your experience in retail while selling our award-winning chocolate products.

This is a seasonal part-time position, with an expected start date in late October. This role requires availability for all types of shifts (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays). The successful candidate can expect to work approximately three shifts per week.

You will be a good fit if you are:

• Excited about our Chocolatier training program - we will teach you everything about chocolate from its origins to our production process (previous retail experience is an asset)
