Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a capable retail store leader to assist the Front Store Manager in managing resources and achieving store objectives. The role focuses on improving product flow from backroom to sales floor and maintaining high standards of customer experience.

The successful candidate will help with labour scheduling, staff development, and upholding company values. This position offers exposure to a national brand with local ownership and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Previous retail management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to drive the business and lead by example.
• Superior interpersonal, coaching and communication skills.
• Business and financial acumen.
• Relationship builder with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store standards to optimize customer experience and profitability.
• Work with Management Team to ensure store standards in effect at all times, including the backroom.
• Assist in labour scheduling and leverage workforce management to maximize productivity.
• Ensure staffing levels are adequate to effectively operate the business.
• Assist with hiring for all departments, excluding Pharmacy, in conjunction with the FSM.
• Drive culture, engagement, and lead staff through core values.
