Shoppers Drug Mart in Ontario, Canada is seeking an experienced store management candidate to assist the Front Store Manager in overseeing human, physical, and financial resources, and to improve product flow from backroom to sales floor.

The role focuses on staffing, operations, HR compliance, and driving store profitability while maintaining high customer experience and adherence to company standards and values.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Store Standards to optimize customer experience.
• Drives customer traffic and store profitability.
• Works with Management Team to ensure Store Standards are in effect 100% of the time, including the backroom.
• Helps manage labour scheduling in conjunction with the FSM and leverages Work Force Management to maximize productivity.
• Ensures staffing levels are adequate to operate the business.
• Complies with Human Resources Standards.
• Assists hiring with the FSM for all departments (excluding Pharmacy).
• Maintains wage administration within SLPH guidelines.
• Leads by Blue Culture and motivates staff through Core Values.
