Job summary

Sodexo is hiring an Operations Manager for a new client site in Vancouver, BC. Lead a retail food service operation, work with the executive chef on menus and promotions, and manage purchasing, inventory and scheduling.

You will drive financial performance, supervise leaders, and ensure safety and quality standards across the program. The role emphasizes strong business acumen, customer service excellence, and a passion for food and service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a busy retail environment
• Experience leading a branded food concept
• Strong business acumen and customer service skills
• Experience in promotions and high-quality food service

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct retail food service operations for the site
• Lead daily operations with the executive chef on menus and promotions
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, scheduling and labour cost management
• Manage financials for the retail program including food cost and equipment
• Supervise and mentor supervisors, evaluate performance
• Ensure annual retail objectives are achieved and standards are met
• Promote and market the retail program and identify efficiencies
