Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Calgary is seeking a Customer Service Representative to answer calls, process orders, and handle inquiries and complaints in our inbound service center. You will greet customers, promote our programs, and use POS and SAP to complete transactions while following policies.

The role supports store operations and requires a positive, service-driven attitude; accommodations available upon request.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a sales or service environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed expectations.
• Ability to use good judgment and logic.
• Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
• Provide a legendary experience for every customer and promote Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s programs.
• Use POS and SAP systems to complete customer transactions following policies, including ID and age checks.
• Respond and handle customer issues using good judgment and logic.
• Assist asset protection in following procedures and policies, including checks for price switches and security devices.
• Open and close duties when necessary: empty trash, stock bags, cash wraps, dust and wipe counters.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.
