Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Canada to provide quality service by handling inbound calls to process orders, answer inquiries, and resolve complaints in a welcoming center.

The role requires friendly engagement, accurate use of POS and SAP systems, and a willingness to assist in various store areas as needed. Applicants with 1+ year in sales/service and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectations.
• Ability to use good judgment and logic.
• Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s specific products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
• Provide a legendary experience for every customer and promote Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s programs.
• Use POS and SAP systems to complete customer transactions, checking identification and age requirements as needed.
• Respond to and resolve customer issues with good judgment and logic.
• Assist asset protection by following procedures and policies.
• Address unhappy customers by correcting the problem or involving a Manager on Duty.
• Perform opening/closing duties and stock-related tasks as needed.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.
