Bass Pro Shops in Nanaimo is seeking an energetic Front End-Receiving, Cashier to greet customers, handle transactions, and explain our services. You will use POS and SAP systems to process payments accurately while following store policies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales or service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent customer service and ability to exceed expectations.
• Ability to use good judgment and logic.
• Experience in outdoor lifestyle or related field is a plus.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Use POS and SAP to complete transactions following all policies.
• Process payments via debit, credit, gift cards and cash.
• Resolve issues with good judgment and logic.
• Assist asset protection and check for price switches.
• Open/close duties and maintain store areas.
• Assist in other store areas as needed.
