Schweitzer Resort in Blue Mountains, ON is seeking a full-time Resort Dispatch position. Dispatchers handle emergency-related calls, prioritize responses, and coordinate first responders to ensure swift and accurate actions.

The role requires strong customer service and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced resort environment. You’ll work with a team that values safety and efficiency, using Word, Excel, and Access to document incidents and logs.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Able to triage emergency calls based on severity.
• Resort knowledge is an asset.
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Access and email/internet.
• Must be organized, energetic, and dependable.
• Able to multi-task in a busy setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Clear and pleasant telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Receive and dispatch emergency calls to first responder team via telephone, radio and email.
• Receive, evaluate and prioritize incoming first aid and emergency calls.
• Dispatch calls to Patrollers, Security and outside emergency responders (EMS).
• Data entry of incident reports into Microsoft Access.
• Maintain Patrol and Security logs and related documentation.
• Conduct and actively take part in the Emergency Services incident follow-up program.
