Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort Company is seeking a responsive Seasonal role to support emergency communications for the first responder team at Ontario's premier resort. You will handle calls, triage urgency, and dispatch to Patrollers, Security and EMS, while maintaining logs and reports in Access.

Applicants should bring strong customer service, organization and multitasking abilities, plus solid computer skills. This role emphasizes clear communication and a professional telephone presence in a busy

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills and calm handling of inquiries.
  • Able to triage emergency calls based on severity and need.
  • Resort knowledge is an asset for quick decision making.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Access and email/internet.
  • Organized, energetic and dependable with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; friendly telephone manner.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate to first responder team via telephone, radio and email.
  • Receive, evaluate and prioritize incoming first aid and emergency calls.
  • Dispatch calls to Patrollers, Security and EMS as needed.
  • Data entry of incident reports into Microsoft Access.
  • Maintain Patrol and Security logs and related documentation.
  • Participate in the Emergency Services incident follow-up program.

FULL TIME HOURS
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
  • Communicate to first responder team via telephone, radio and email
