Job summary

Good Shepherd Centres in Hamilton, Ontario, is seeking a Residential Shift Supervisor to mentor Housing and Residential staff and coordinate shift responsibilities. You will develop client care plans and provide direct, dignified service to participants with a focus on safety and anti-racist practices.

The role requires a post-secondary diploma in social services and at least two years of relevant experience, with emphasis on trauma-informed, client-directed care and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma in social services or equivalent with 2 years of related experience.
• Experience applying trauma-informed, feminist, client-directed approaches.
• Ability to supervise and mentor frontline staff and coordinate shift coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and coordination to shift teams and client care plans.
• Onboard and train new staff and debrief frontline teams after shifts.
• Ensure service quality, records accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Support performance evaluations and team decision making.
• Deliver direct client services with dignity and cultural safety.
