Job summary

The Pod Group is partnering with a leading not-for-profit in Ontario's developmental services sector to fill the role of Manager, Client Services (Residential Supports) in Hamilton.

You will provide oversight of the Group Living Residential Portfolio, lead Direct Support Facilitators, ensure quality service delivery, required reporting, and program development while promoting community engagement and inclusion for people with special needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Experience developing and implementing dynamic programs for people with special needs.
• Knowledge of Employment Standards Act and labour laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, management and oversight to a team of Direct Support Facilitators, responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
• Ensure performance management protocols are adhered to for employees.
• Develop, maintain and promote a high level of quality service delivery.
• Lead and supervise the program staff.
• Ensure programs meet all internal and external reporting requirements.
• Manage day-to-day administration of the programs.
• Provide enhanced program development, planning and evaluation.
• Promote community and stakeholder engagement.
• Have working knowledge of labor laws and collective agreements.
