Responsibilities for Residential Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks, maintain order, and establish presence
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Maintain a safe and secure environment
• Control access at entry and exit points using available equipment
• Take actions during emergency situations as per GardaWorld and USB protocols
• Scan checkpoints with G-Track without deviation
• Deter potential threats by maintaining a visible presence
• Respond effectively to emergencies
• Enforce property regulations and city bylaws on the client's site
• Protect the client's assets against theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues

Qualifications for Residential Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• First aid certification is an asset
• Good with technology
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
• Customer service-oriented
• Knowledge of G-Track systems (asset)
• Ability to work night shifts
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful environment
