As a Mobile Security Guard in a hospital setting, driving and physical ability are essential, as you will be moving around your entire shift and patrolling the hospital parkade environment.

Responsibilities for Mobile Parking Security Guard

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Conduct mobile parking patrols as per post orders and supervisor instructions
• Traffic control
• Work as part of a team and report to the onsite supervisor
• Provide escorts for visitors and issue passes for authorized areas
• Ensure all doors are closed and vacant areas have lights off
• Maintain a safe and secure environment
• Provide active response, assist EMS, fire watch, pressurized systems, and chemical spill management
• Follow the employee working alone process
• Perform G-Track patrolling as per site orders
• Park at designated spots between patrols
• Perform vehicle inspections at the start and end of shifts
• Document and report issues using electronic devices
• Adhere to all company standards and site orders

Qualifications for Mobile Parking Security Guard

• Authorized to work in Canada
• Valid Manitoba security license
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to walk and perform mobile patrols throughout the shift
• Ability to use a personal vehicle
• Valid Manitoba Security Guard license
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• 1-2 years of experience as a security guard in customer-facing roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Parking for personal vehicles is not available
