Job summary

Finning Canada in Edmonton is seeking a Rental Coordinator to join our team. In this in-office role, you will support equipment rental operations, coordinate rental transactions from start to finish, and ensure accurate invoicing and records.

You will work with sales, service, fleet management, finance, and supply chain teams to deliver seamless customer experiences and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an office or dealership.
  • Customer service and/or sales experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, or invoicing is considered an asset.
  • Experience in the equipment rental, construction, or heavy equipment industry is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate rental transactions from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Prepare and process rental agreements, rental conversions, and equipment sales invoices.
  • Maintain accurate rental records for both new and used equipment.
  • Manage customer pre-authorized payment information and account updates.
  • Prepare daily invoicing for equipment currently on rent.
  • Track environmental levy charges and ensure proper documentation.
  • Issue credit and debit notes accurately and efficiently.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding rentals, billing, and account information.
  • Work closely with teams across sales, service, fleet management, finance, supply chain, warranty, and used equipment operations.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers, including transportation and insurance providers, to support rental activities.
